You can easily change the layout of your entire org chart using the tools in your Organizational Chart SmartPanel to the left of your drawing area.
In the Org Chart Layout section, you can click on any of the options under the Chart Direction menu. You can choose between "Top Down", "Bottom Up", "Left to Right, or "Right to Left." You don't have to redraw or reconnect anything. SmartDraw will do the work for you. Just select a layout and your org chart will be reformatted automatically.
Change Branch Style
You can also change the layout of individual branches. Select the branch you want to change by clicking on the line and choose a different style from the Branch Style drop-down. SmartDraw will automatically adjust the spacing on your entire chart. You will not have to move or reconnect boxes manually.
