Diagrams powered by SmartDraw's Intelligent Formatting engine consist of shapes linked by connecting lines (we call them Automatic Connectors) that are automatically aligned and spaced evenly.
To move a shape from one place to another, just click down to select it and, without letting go of your mouse, drag it to a new location. Look for a white anchor to appear as you approach the new location - this confirms a connection to the new location on the diagram. Once the moved shape snaps into place everything will realign and reconnect perfectly.
