Add text easily to shapes, lines, and tables, or add a free-floating text box in your document.
Adding Text to Shapes
In most cases, if you are adding text to a shape, simply click on the shape and begin typing.
To add text to a cell of a table, click on the cell, and begin typing.
You can change the text entry properties of any shape by selecting it and then choosing Text Entry from the Design tab.
You can change whether text appears inside, above, or below the shape, set the margins, and determine how the shape should grow as you enter more text.
Adding Text to a Line
Adding text to a line is just as simple: click the line and begin typing.
NOTE: Not all lines allow text. Lines that connect automatic shape configurations like organizational charts don't allow text entry.
To change how text appears on the line, you can go to the Text Align menu in the Design tab and change where the text appears.
Adding a Text Object
To add a free-floating text box to your visual, click Text tool located at the top of the SmartPanel docked to the left of your work area. Next, click on an empty space in your document and begin typing.
To format text in your document, highlight the text then select your desired font type, size, and formatting from the options in Home tab.
