Export to PDF

To export your finished diagram to a PDF, go to the Home tab, click on Export and choose PDF.

You'll see an animation of the conversion process. Once it's complete, you'll see a dialog confirming it and your file will download automatically.

You file will appear in the downloads folder set for your browser.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIP:

If you're not happy with the PDF output from SmartDraw, you can try exporting your diagram to SVG first.

Here's a quick overview of the steps:

  1. Export your diagram to SVG from SmartDraw
  2. Go to CloudConvert and upload your SVG
  3. Convert your uploaded SVG to PDF
  4. Download the PDF from CloudConvert

Start by choosing SVG from the Export command on the Home tab.

Next, go to the CloudConvert website for converting SVGs to PDFs.

Click on Select File and browse to select your exported SVG from SmartDraw.

 

Once the file is loaded, make sure PDF is selected in the Convert to column, then click the red Convert button.

Once your SVG is converted to PDF, it will be displayed in a modal. Click Download to save it to your computer.
