Add Effects

By default, most SmartDraw shapes have no effect applied to them. However, you can apply your own effects like drop shadows and glows, both inside and outside a selected shape. Choose your desired effect from the Effects drop down menu on the Home tab.

For example, you can apple a subtle drop shadow.

Note: Effects will be overridden by changing the theme of the document.
