SmartDraw has a cloud storage service that houses your saved files. This service is similar to that of Google Drive or DropBox, in that you can view and edit saved files from any location or device. Read on to learn how to save your file to SmartDraw.
While you are working on a visual in SmartDraw, your visual is automatically being saved to the cloud storage service every few seconds, with the name of "[Template Type] (Number of that type)."
As you can see above, this untitled visual is a Mind Map, and it is the 8th Mind Map that has been created.
To save your visual to SmartDraw, click Save As from the File tab, select SmartDraw from the Location field, type the name into the Name field and click Save.
The file is immediately saved and is now renamed. The checkmark next to the file name indicates saving has occurred.
To learn how to save your file to a third party service see: Add a Storage Provider: Box, DropBox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive.
