You can delete your account and any data associated with it at any time. SmartDraw will remove all your personal data from our systems in accordance with GDPR requirements, as specified within our Privacy Policy.
Please keep in mind that once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access the documents you have saved to SmartDraw's Cloud storage. There will no way to recover any files. Please download and save the documents you need prior to deleting your account.
Individual Users
To delete your data, you'll first need to login to My Account.
If you do not have a password or do not remember, you can reset it here.
Once logged in, choose Delete Your Data under Account Security in the left panel.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT, THIS WILL NOT ONLY DELETE YOUR INFORMATION, BUT IT WILL ALSO PERMANENTLY DELETE ANY PURCHASED LICENSES AS WELL AS ANY FILES THAT YOU HAVE SAVED TO SMARTDRAW ONLINE. THERE IS NO WAY TO RECOVER YOUR FILES AFTER YOU'VE DELETED YOUR ACCOUNT.*
Click Please Delete My Data to delete your information.
Team and Enterprise Users
If you're on a managed license, only the account owner can delete users and data.
You will have to ask your license administrator to delete your data for you. Feel free to send them this information on how to do so.
Deleting Users as an Administrator
If you are the account owner, please follow these steps to remove a user and delete their data from your license.
To remove a user or users from a multi-seat license, log in to My Account.
Once logged in, click on User Administration in the left panel.
Select the user or users whose data you want to delete.
From the drop-down under Actions, select Remove User.
On the Remove User Options dialog, choose Delete the user and all their data in accordance with GDPR.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that these documents are not recoverable once you proceed.
When you're ready, click "Yes, Proceed":
To delete users and data in accordance with GDPR, you'll want to select that second option, but below is an explanation of what the other options in this dialog mean:

Delete the user
This will delete the user and any documents they have created will be inaccessible by anyone. These documents are not recoverable.

Delete the user and all their data in accordance with GDPR
Delete this user and all of their data including any documents they have. These documents are not recoverable.

Transfer their documents to another user
Move this user's documents to another user. You will be given the option to select the user to transfer files to and then delete the original user.

Just remove them from the license
Remove the user from this license. They will keep their documents. They will be able to continue using SmartDraw independently from this license. Any documents shared between this user and your team will be un-shared.
