Version History is important as it allows collaborators to track changes made to a document over time. It allows you to undo mistakes and revert to previous versions. This is extremely valuable when collaborating on projects with others.
How It Works
In SmartDraw, the creator of the document or the first editor in a collaboration session is recorded in the Version History as the person who made the change to that version of the document. A new version is created when the last editor leaves the document, with the name tied to the Version History being the first collaborator to make an edit in that session.
