Pages allow you to create a collection of related diagrams all in one document.
Every SmartDraw document starts on Page 1.
To add a new page to an existing document, click the plus sign next to the existing Page 1 tab at the top of your work area.
You can simply add a New Page, a New Page from Template, Duplicate Page, and Add Existing Page.
Let's go over each of the options.
New Page will add a page using the same template you're already using. So if you are working on a flowchart, it will add another flowchart page. If you're working on an organizational chart, you'll get another page configured to make an org chart.
New Page from Template will allow you to choose another template from SmartDraw's existing collection. So while your first page may be a Flowchart, you can add the second page as a Floor Plan or Organizational Chart, or any of the hundreds of templates available to you in SmartDraw.
Duplicate Page will make a copy of your existing page. This is great if you're trying to present alternatives. Like make an alternative wireframe or planogram for a presentation.
The Add Existing Document command will let you choose an existing diagram you have previously created.
You can also use pages to create sub-charts and sub-processes connected automatically via a linked shape. See how to do that by reading this article on creating sub-charts.
